The Martial Arts Show 10th Anniversary was truly an unforgettable experience that brought together martial arts enthusiasts from all walks of life. This extraordinary event featured training sessions with some of the most renowned martial arts stars in the industry, including the legendary Cynthia Rothrock, a trailblazer in martial arts cinema, and Billy "Superfoot" Wallace, known for his incredible kicking techniques and contributions to the sport. Additionally, we had the privilege of training alongside the dynamic duo, Simon and Philip Rhee, who have made significant impacts in the martial arts community. To top it all off, we were fortunate enough to meet the talented Scot Adkins, celebrated for his roles in action films, and the skilled Alfie Lewis, both of whom shared their insights and experiences with us.

The training sessions were diverse and comprehensive, taking place across several areas that catered to different aspects of martial arts. Participants had the opportunity to engage in specialized sessions focusing on Weapons training, Traditional martial arts techniques, Self-Defense strategies, and even Legendary sections that paid homage to the rich history and evolution of martial arts. Among the various disciplines offered, attendees could learn about Jiu-Jitsu, a grappling-based martial art that emphasizes ground fighting; Muay Thai, known for its striking techniques and powerful kicks; Shotokan, a traditional form of karate that focuses on both kata and kumite; and Escrima stick fighting, which showcases the use of weapons in combat scenarios.

Our head instructor, Daz Stirrat, was guiding us through these intense Shotokan karate training sessions over the course of two days, Saturday and Sunday. His expertise and passion for martial arts were evident as he led us through various drills and techniques, ensuring that each participant gained valuable skills and knowledge. For those who were unable to attend in person, we recorded live sessions that were streamed on our Facebook page, allowing martial arts enthusiasts from around the world to join in on the action and learn from our incredible instructors.

As the event came to a close on Sunday evening, we attended a special nomination ceremony that celebrated the achievements of various participants. This ceremony was not only a recognition of hard work and dedication but also an opportunity to foster a sense of community among martial artists. Following the nominations, we enjoyed a delightful evening meal together, where participants could share stories, forge new friendships, and reflect on the invaluable experiences gained throughout the weekend. The night was further enhanced by live performances that showcased the artistry and skill of various martial artists, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to continue their martial arts journey.
