The first HASK competition took place in 2025. With 22 eager students stepping up to take part, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. As is customary in such events, we approached the competition with no specific expectations but instead focused on thorough preparation to ensure that our students could perform to the best of their abilities. The competition spanned over two intense days and was structured into four distinct parts, each designed to test different skills and disciplines.
On Saturday morning, specifically the 1st of November, the first segment of the competition was dedicated to children aged 10 years and younger. This category was particularly special to us, as it showcased the budding talent and enthusiasm of our younger students. Among those competing, we had a few standout participants. Little Erin, with her unwavering determination, participated in the Punch Bag Category, where she demonstrated her skills and technique, ultimately winning a well-deserved Bronze medal. Her achievement was a testament to her hard work and dedication during training.
Additionally, we had Adel, who entered the Parent and Child category alongside her mother, Eniko. Their teamwork and synergy were remarkable, and they managed to secure a Gold medal, which was a proud moment not only for them but also for our entire team. We were especially proud of Hope, as this competition marked her very first experience in such an event. She performed brilliantly in her Kata category, showcasing her skills with poise and confidence, which left us all in awe of her talent and potential.
The two days of competition passed in a whirlwind of activity and excitement, as we had students participating in almost every category available. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and encouragement from fellow competitors and supporters alike. By the end of the event, our students collectively brought home an impressive total of 44 medals and 4 trophies, a clear reflection of their dedication and hard work leading up to the competition. We are absolutely thrilled with our students' achievements and the recognition they received for their efforts. Well done, everyone! Your commitment and passion have truly paid off, and we look forward to seeing even more success in future competitions!
