2nd Visit to train in Lithuanian Community SC

What a beautiful day it was to kick off the morning with a Karate training session! Once again, we were honored to be invited to the Lithuanian Community of South Coast to introduce the basics of Karate to the campers. The sessions officially began at 10 am, but before diving into the training, we had the pleasure of witnessing all the campers engaging in a lively "Rain Dance" activity. It was a joy to see them playfully moving clouds and banishing rain, and we couldn't resist joining in on the fun mission.

The activities kicked off with intense punch bag drills, powerful kicks, and various training exercises. In order to keep the atmosphere light and enjoyable, we decided to incorporate some sparring sessions, ensuring that safety was the top priority and that there were no injuries.

Following the sparring, we transitioned into teaching the campers some fundamental self-defense techniques that were easy to grasp and apply. It was rewarding to see the campers enthusiastically learning and practicing these important skills.

As the session drew to a close, we concluded with a crucial discussion on Children's Safety, including what to do in the unfortunate event of a kidnapping. It was a sobering yet necessary topic to address, and we aimed to equip the campers with valuable knowledge and strategies to keep themselves safe.

The overall experience was filled with laughter, learning, and camaraderie. We are immensely grateful to Gintare Illeviciute for extending the invitation once again, allowing us the opportunity to share our passion for Karate with the wonderful campers. Until next time!
